I believe in angels
Just when you think you are all alone, then someone walks into your life, someone you don’t even know, someone that doesn’t owe you anything, and yet they give you everything……..they give you their time and kindness.
As most of you know, I have been out of work for almost a year now. Lately, I widened my search area and started asking / telling people, okay, let’s be honest, I was and am telling anyone who will listen…HEY I NEED A JOB !!!!! So in talking with one of my friends, she referred me to one of her friends, now that is what I call networking, anyway, back to the story, this friend, or angel as I like to call her, her real name is April, contacted me this week. Then, she took one step further, she made time for me, today, on Saturday, during her busy life to give me some assistance and guidance.
Well, after 1 1/2 hours I walked away with knowledge, belief in myself and my abilities, but most of all, I walked away with a renewed sense of belief in the human spirit and our ability to lend a helping hand. I believe April said it best, we are all put here to help one another, to assist when we can and even when we don’t think we can, you never the know the difference you can make in a persons life.
So here is my challenge for all of you: SMILE AT SOMEONE, OPEN THE DOOR FOR A STRANGER, OFFER TO PUMP SOMEONE’S GAS FOR THEM, HEY GO BIG AND MAYBE EVEN PAY FOR THEIR TANK OF GAS, HELP YOUR FAMILY, FRIEND, OR THAT STRANGER THAT JUST LOOKS LIKE THEY NEED YOU TODAY, DO IT I KNOW YOU WILL FEEL BETTER.
